Ninth Cabinet Meeting: Discussions Held on Non-Tax Revenues and Petroleum and Gas Laboratories

On November 10, 2025, the ninth meeting of the Cabinet of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was held under the chairmanship of Al-Haj Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, the Prime Minister of the IEA.

The meeting began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by discussions and decisions on key economic, social, and cultural matters of the country.

During the meeting, the reports on the status of development projects and non-tax revenues were approved. It was decided that the relevant institutions should take all the collected proposals into consideration, particularly those related to development projects, in order to create employment opportunities and provide facilities for the people.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Finance was instructed to purchase the necessary equipment for petroleum and gas laboratories, in coordination with the Standards and Quality Authority at the earliest possible opportunity, to effectively prevent the import of substandard petroleum and gas.

It is worth mentioning that after detailed discussions and decisions on several issues, the cabinet meeting concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
