It is not require SCADA the new system interfacing with existing Local SCADA.

Scope of work for SCADA: As Checked BOQ of project, there is not any item in BOQ for provision of SCADA Material for this project, but in item 37 of BOQ mentioned “interfacing the new Tr Bay with existing Local SCADA” Please clear the Scope of SCADA for this project whether consider for this project or not?

The current system design includes a proper protection system, but it lacks a bus bar protection system. To implement a bus bar protection system, new bus bar protection panels and separate protection relays for each bus are required, along with modifications to the existing control and protection systems. Our recommendation is to defer the implementation of the bus bar protection system for the time being. However, the High Voltage (HV) Current Transformers (CTs) should be supplied and installed in accordance with the specifications of the existing system. In decision, we have decided to proceed with the system without integrating the bus bar protection system at this stage.

Busbar Protection in 110KV Substation Side: Even this inquiry asked previously but still not clear. As checking requirement, BOQ and SLD, the new step-up transformer will connect to existing busbar, so need to interface appropriately with existing system.

·      In case existing substation has busbar protection, please provide detail of existing busbar protection system.

·      In case of non-availability of existing busbar protection, please busbar scope for this new project. If it is ok, please confirm that contractor provides related equipment like current transformer with ability to have possibility connection to busbar protection, while busbar protection for existing system provides in future so this project would have availability for busbar protection interfacing possibility.

Lighting is not required for extension bay, contractor should consider HVAC Lightning system, Cable ladder, supports, Steel Pipes

Missing Materials: As checked BOW, some materials are not mentioned in any line item of BOQ such as Lighting, HVAC, Lightning, Cable ladder, supports, Steel Pipes. Please clear these items whether required for this project or not. In case requiring, in which line item should be consider.

Contractor should consider all these items in 37 BOQ.

Management Cost: As in item 37 of BOQ mentioned “Including Civil & electrical design, Management of project” Please Clear the scope for management cost whether does this cost include employer assistant requirement and mobilization? In case of inclusion please share related requirement.
