The appointments of officials in the Islamic Emirate are based on the trust of the leadership, says Director-General of Administrative Affairs.
On July 9, 2024, the Director-General of Administrative Affairs, Sheikh-Al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, took part in introductory meetings for the new Minister of Mines and Petroleum, as well as the new Director-Generals of the Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, Afghan Red Crescent Society, and National Environmental Protection Agency.
During these meetings, Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar explained that in the Islamic system, the Emir has his own responsibilities while the employees have their own responsibilities regarding the appointments. He stated that the Emir fulfills the Sharia responsibility in appointing an official, and employees carry out their duties according to Sharia.
He emphasized that those appointed in the framework of the Islamic Emirate were not based on their wish, but rather on the belief and trust of the leadership of the Islamic Emirate. The appointments take into consideration the individual's ability, qualification, piety, and commitment. According to the Director-General, it is necessary for a responsible person to efficiently perform their assigned tasks.
It should be noted that recently, the Esteemed Amirul Momineen Hafidzahullahu Ta'ala has made several appointments and changes in the ministries and agencies. Today, a new minister, director-generals, and deputies for the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, National Disaster Management Authority, Afghan Red Crescent Society, and Environmental Protection Agency were introduced to the employees.
