100 private sector representatives participated in the online program to access procurement opportunities


On July 9, 2024, the Department of E-Procurement System Development of the National Procurement Directorate of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs organized a program to access procurement opportunities online, in which about 100 representatives of the private sector, tenders companies, and contracted companies were informed and trained about the E-Procurement System.

During the meeting, in collaboration with the Statistics and Information Authority, detailed information was provided to the participants regarding the priority of domestic products and how to use the company registration and classification system.

Acceleration of procurement processes, the opportunity to create a consortium, assess company capacity, foster healthy competition, raise the level of capacity, and professionalize the private sector are important advantages of the company registration and classification system that all companies and the private sector can benefit from it.

At the conclusion of the program, satisfactory answers were provided to the private sector representatives' questions. The participants appreciated the efforts of the National Procurement Directorate and expressed their willingness to cooperate.
