Khost Municipality completed 28 projects worth $3.5 million

Khost Municipality, under the General Directorate for Coordination of Municipal Affairs, has completed and put into operation 28 projects worth $3.5 million.

During a meeting held by the municipality, Qari Bismillah Bilal, the mayor of Khost, stated that the municipal administration, in coordination with UNOPS officials, has finished and put into operation 28 projects across six districts of Khost city. These projects include village streets and roads and have provided employment opportunities to thousands of people.
Qari Bilal expressed his appreciation for the UNOPS organization and requested their help and cooperation with implementing other projects as well.
Engineer Nimatullah Durrani, an official of UNOPS in Khost, presented information about the recently completed projects and expressed his appreciation to the municipality officials, county councilors, and youths.
The meeting began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
