Domestic and foreign investors are interested in investing in the country, says Investment Facilitation Director

On May 29, 2024, a coordination meeting was held under the leadership of the Investment Facilitation Directorate in order to implement the order of Esteemed Amirul Momimeen Hafidzahullahu Ta'ala, to discuss the issuance of licenses under the One-Stop-Shop, with the participation of representatives from ministries and relevant agencies.
The meeting commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran in the conference hall of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs.
Engineer Ahmad Zia Khalid, Director of Investment Facilitation, stated that Islamic Emirate pays special attention to the investment, development of the country, and the welfare of the people, and it is our responsibility to facilitate the investment environment.
Additionally, he stated, “We are obliged to provide facilities to our suffering people within the framework of the Islamic Emirate system, to encourage investors, and One-Stop-Shop makes it easier in the field of licensing”.
Meanwhile, Atta Muhammad Himat, the head of the One-Stop-Shop of the Services Directorate of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, provided a presentation on the licensing services and facilities and said that the objective of the one-stop-stop is simplification, transparency, saving consumption, encouraging and supporting investment, cooperation, and coordination among the relevant agencies, and dealing with the clients problems.

After listening to the views and suggestions of the participants, Engineer Ahmad Zia Khalid decided that the relevant agencies should introduce their representatives to the One-Stop-Shop of the Services Directorate. The directorate will then finalize the draft after gathering information and present it to the relevant agencies for approval.

The meeting concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
