A coordination meeting was held regarding the construction of mosques on major highways
On May 28, 2024, a coordination meeting was held at the conference hall of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs to discuss the construction of mosques along the major highways of the country.
The meeting, chaired by Sheikh-ul-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, General Director of Administrative Affairs, was attended by Deputy Ministers and representatives of relevant agencies to implement the decree of Esteemed Amirul Momimeen Hafidzahullahu Ta'ala and the decision of the Cabinet of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
The meeting involved officials from the Ministries of Public Works, Urban Development and Housing, Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, and Hajj and Religious Affairs. They provided the latest updates on the construction of mosques and shared their suggestions.
In the meeting, the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock was tasked with taking necessary measures for the stabilization, purification, and land transfer process and governors of the respective provinces, in coordination with relevant institutions, were instructed to oversee the implementation of the affairs of the construction of mosques.
Additionally, the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing was entrusted to take necessary measures in the design of the mosque maps and to appoint engineers in the area to implement the construction works of mosques, and also expedite these affairs.
The meeting commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran and concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
