The 7th session of the contracts separation and filtration committee was held


Feb 12, 2023- The 7th session of the contracts separation and filtration committee for the purpose of reviewing contracts, directed by Mawlavi Muhammad Sabir Mutasim Billah, the Deputy Director General for Finance and Administration of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, with the participation of the members of this committee, was convened today at Marmarin Palace of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs.

During this session, the Deputy Director General of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs emphasized expediting the process of separation and filtration of contracts and said that this Islamic system has come at a great cost and we are indebted to complete our affairs with full transparency.

Dar-ul-Insha members of this contracts separation and filtration committee presented their findings about five construction and commodity projects to the leadership of the committee and vital decisions were undertaken in the light of Sharia provisions and the law.

The committee for contracts separation and filtration carries out the separation and filtration of contracts of those projects, which after the re-establishment of the Islamic Emirate, their procurement process and payments have been delayed.
So far, the said committee has reviewed around 201 contracts of the total 339 and 138 more are under work.

At the end of the meeting, it was decided that a committee should be assigned under the leadership of Mawlavi Muhammad Rabbani Nasih, the Director of Monitoring and Coordination of Projects and with the participation of the directorates of Plan and Design, Building Maintenance and Caring, and Monitoring and Coordination of Projects, which will comprehensively review the construction and commodity projects and will present their findings to the next meeting.

Meanwhile, for the financial solution of the projects, a proposal should be submitted to the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, so that guidance can be obtained for the refund of the contractual money.

It was also decided that a delegation under the chairmanship of Mohammad Agul Kochi, Deputy Director of National Procurement (NPD), with the membership of related directorates and financial and administrative consultancy, will be appointed to re-examine the remaining files and submit their report.

This meeting, which started with the recitation of the Holy Quran, concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
