A Technical Meeting Between the Investment Facilitation Directorate and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce Was Held

November 19th, 2023- A technical meeting under the title of Invest in Afghanistan between the Investment Facilitation Directorate of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs and the Investment and Development Division of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce was held in the compound of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs.

The attendees of this meeting were Engineer Ahmad Zia Khalid, director of Investment Facilitation, technical specialists of this directorate, Sebghatullah Akhundzada, director of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce's Investment and Development Division, and technical staff of this ministry.
At the outset of the meeting, Sebghatullah Akhundzada provided general information about the introduction of the investment campaign in Afghanistan to the participants of the meeting and said that attracting investment in Afghanistan requires the full support of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs and all sector ministries.
Afterward, the technical staff of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce provided an all-round presentation to the attendants about the activities of this ministry, the value of foreign investment, the investment process, supporting investors, and the role of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs in it.

Meanwhile, Engineer Ahmad Zia Khalid after welcoming the participants of the meeting said that Afghanistan is the common home of all Afghans and in terms of attracting investment in Afghanistan, the sectorial departments are obliged to work shoulder to shoulder in order to achieve the afore-mentioned objective.
Furthermore, he also promised to send awareness letters about the mentioned issue to the sectorial ministries and departments and later on will hold meetings with them.
