A Meeting About The Establishment Of Electronic Gates At The Four Entrances
Of Kabul Was Held

November, 16th, 2023- The Investment Facilitation Directorate of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs held a coordination meeting with the representative of the ministries of transport & aviation, public works, and finance about the installation of electronic gates at the four entrances of Kabul and its extension to the provinces.

The meeting started with the recitation of the Holy Quran, later on, Engineer Ahmad Zia Khalid, Investment Facilitation Director said, the purpose of installing electronic gates in the four entrances of Kabul is to develop more transparency in collecting the revenues of the ministries of public works, transport and aviation.
At the same time, the representatives of the relevant departments expressed their technical and professional views and opinions about the practical work of installing electronic gates and said that the regulation of the Ministry of Transportation has been passed and the electronic gates will operate under the umbrella of a complex.

At the end of the meeting, it was decided to establish a committee consisting of the ministries of public works, transportation & aviation, finance, interior, telecommunications and information technology, Kabul municipality, and General Directorate of Intelligence for the practical work of the mentioned subject, and its first practical work will start from the eastern gate of Kabul.

The meeting concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
