We need to use our pen and words in support of IEA, says director of cultural and social affairs of AOP IEA

Today, Aug 23, 2023- Mawlavi Muhammad Ishaq Akhundzada, the head of cultural and social affairs of AOP IEA, met with the Afghanistan's Journalists' Union and listened to their problems.

This meeting, which was held today in the meeting hall of AOP IEA, under the chairmanship of Mawlavi Muhammad Ishaq Akhundzada, head of cultural and social affairs commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the discussion of the existing problems of the Afghanistan's Journalists' Union.

At the outset, Mawlavi Muhammad Ishaq Akhundzada stated that the Islamic system remains stable due to unity and solidarity, and we should support it with our pen and words.

Subsequently, Hafizullah Barakzai, the head of Afghanistan's Journalists' Union and other members of this union asked for cooperation in providing information to the media, providing jobs to the unemployed journalists, and eliminating the financial problems of the media outlets and journalists.

At last, Mawlavi Muhammad Ishaq Akhundzada assured the members of the Afghanistan Journalists' Union that he will support the media within the framework of Islamic Shari'a and discuss the problems and demands of journalists with the leadership.

The meeting concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
