Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) is committed to the principle of merit-based appointments, says Mawlavi Saifuddin Taieb

August 23, 2023- Mawlavi Saifuddin Taieb officially introduced Qari Muhammad Yusuf Ahmadi as the new General Director of the National Radio and Television of Afghanistan. He was appointed as the General Director of RTA on August 16, 2023 based on the order of Esteemed Amir-ul-Mu'minin, Sheikh-Ul-Hadith, Mawlavi Hibatullah Akhundzada. During the introductory ceremony, Mawlavi Saifuddin Taieb, Deputy Director of AOP IEA said that in Islamic Emirate a person is entrusted with a responsibility only if he is capable of it.

H.E Taieb added that changes in positions of officials of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is one of the principles of the Government.

In addition, H.E Taieb said that the leadership of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan makes such changes keeping in view the national interest and welfare of the people. Furthermore, H.E Mawlavi Saifuddin Taieb, Deputy Director of AOP IEA read the order of the Esteemed Amir-ul-Mu'minin regarding the appointment of Qari Muhammad Yusuf Ahmadi and extended his gratitude to Mawlavi Ahmadullah Wasiq, former Director General of RTA for well performing the tasks assigned to him during his tenure and also wished success for the newly appointed Qari Muhammad Yusuf Ahmadi.

Qari Muhammad Yusuf Ahmadi has previously served as the head of the Government media and information center and before that as the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate and as a member of the Cultural Commission.
