Dr. Fazel Mahmood Fazly, Director-General of the Administrative Office of the President, met with Anders van Brandt, Ambassador of the European Union to Afghanistan.
During the meeting, Dr. Fazly expressed his gratitude for the EU's support for Afghanistan. He especially thanked the EU's support during the Geneva Conference on Afghanistan. He said that the conference was essential for lasting peace and stability in Afghanistan.
Mr. Brandt praised the Afghan government's efforts to fight corruption and furthering the peace talks in Doha. He added that the European Union support the Afghan government's peace and development programs.
