Based on a decree of H.E Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, established Independent Anti-Corruption Commission and appointed a five-member team to begin its duties as commissioners of this Commission.
According to this decree, Mr. Homayoun Hamed, Maryam Zermati, Abdul Qayyum Nezami, Seyyed Mohammad Hashemi and Farrokh Laqa have been appointed as members of the Independent Anti-Corruption Commission.
The decree states that members of the Independent Anti-Corruption Commission are obliged to follow their duties in accordance with the provisions of the applicable legislative documents of the country and according to the specified and scheduled plans, after resuming their positions.
