In a meeting with Dr. Fazel Mahmood Fazly, Director General of the Administrative Office of the President, the spokespersons of many provinces of the country shared their grievances and asked for further cooperation with central agencies while increasing their authority.
The meeting was facilitated by the Independent Directorate of Local Governance to discuss cooperation among IDLG spokespersons and AOP.
In addition to praising the provincial spokespersons, Dr. Fazly also acknowledged their efforts in providing information and strengthening public relations with the local authorities and the public. He highlighted the importance of working in line with government policies.
Dr. Fazly promised to discuss some of the suggestions and demands of the provincial spokespersons with IDLG.
Dr. Fazly requested the provincial spokespersons to share information of local government offices and offices that are secondary units to ministries and other agencies in the provinces so that the people are informed.
