The youth of Herat province discussed the obstacles they face in the areas of education, health, implementation of development projects in the health sector, electricity and promises made to implement solar power project in Shindand district. They also complained about the widespread corruption in Herat Municipality and Customs Department.
The people of Herat called for equal opportunities and employment of the province's cadres in the government, the re-opening of Shindand Airport, and their right to get education in their mother tongue.
Later, after giving a brief history of Shindand and Herat, Dr. Fazly addressed each issue mentioned by the people of Herat. He promised to address the issue of people of Herat not being able to get their education in their mother tongue with the Ministry of Education.
In terms of health sector, Dr. Fazly said that, the issue of establishing a 100-bed hospital has been shared with H.E the President and the Ministry of Public Health.
