Director of Investment Facilitation Visits Manufacturing Factories in Herat

On Thursday, July 16, 2026, Mawlavi Engineer Ahmad Zia Khalid, Director of Investment Facilitation at the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, leading a delegation to the country's western provinces, visited the Marble Sheet and PVC manufacturing factories, as well as the Green Energy Plus Battery Manufacturing Factory, in Herat Province.

The Director of Investment Facilitation commended the activities of these factories and described their role in expanding domestic production and strengthening the country's economy as vital.

According to officials of the Marble Sheet and PVC manufacturing factories, the factories were established with an investment of $5 million, produce more than 70 marble sheets daily, and provide employment to about 60 people.

Meanwhile, officials of the Green Energy Plus Battery Manufacturing Factory said that the factory was established with an investment of $30 million, employs more than 530 workers, and produces 4,000 batteries per day.
