Director of Investment Facilitation Meets with Representative of Gazmin International and Master Bigrana Energy Companies
On June 23, 2026, Mawlavi Engineer Ahmad Zia Khalid, Director of Investment Facilitation at the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, met with Faiz Mohammad Noori, representative of Gazmin International and Master Bigrana Energy Companies, and his accompanying delegation in his office.
During the meeting, Mawlavi Engineer Ahmad Zia Khalid provided comprehensive information on the investment opportunities, capacities, and favorable investment climate in Afghanistan. He welcomed the interest of the aforementioned companies in investing in the country and emphasized the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs' commitment to providing the necessary facilitation and comprehensive cooperation to support investment growth and economic development.
Meanwhile, Faiz Mohammad Noori, representative of Gazmin International and Master Bigrana Energy, stated that the companies are prepared to invest in Afghanistan with the aim of contributing to the country's economic development, creating employment opportunities, transferring knowledge and technology, and developing key infrastructure. He added that the companies are interested in investing in various sectors, including the reconstruction and construction of airports, railway lines, township development, the installation of gas- and coal-fired turbines, mineral extraction and processing, metal industries, crude oil refining, the construction of dams and irrigation projects, the development of healthcare services, pharmaceutical production, education, and higher education.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Mawlavi Engineer Ahmad Zia Khalid expressed appreciation for the proposals presented and pledged to facilitate the investment process within the framework of the country's applicable laws and regulations.
The meeting, which began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, closed with a prayer for goodwill.
