Educational Program on Contract Law Held for Employees of Central Institutions and Provincial Municipalities
On June 13, 2026, an educational program on Contract Law and practical procedures before and after contract conclusion was held by the National Procurement Institute for employees of central institutions and provincial municipalities at the library of the Civil Service Institute of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs.
The program was attended by Mawlavi Abdul Baqi Mansour, Director of National Procurement at the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs; Mawlavi Mohammad Ishaq Akhundzada, Director General for Coordination of Municipal Affairs; Hafiz Asadullah Haroon, Director of the Civil Service Institute; and a number of officials and employees from central institutions and provincial municipalities.
In his remarks, Mawlavi Abdul Baqi Mansour described the enhancement of employees’ professional capacities as a fundamental requirement of the administrative system and emphasized the importance of greater familiarity among officials and employees with Contract Law and the procedures before and after contract conclusion.
Meanwhile, Mawlavi Mohammad Ishaq Akhundzada emphasized commitment, responsibility, and the enhancement of employees’ professional knowledge, and described the organization of such training programs as beneficial for institutions.
Hafiz Asadullah Haroon described specialized training as vital for improving the quality of administrative services and urged participants to make proper use of the available training opportunities.
It is worth noting that 28 employees from Emirate institutions and 33 employees from provincial municipalities participated in this training program, which will continue for two and three weeks respectively.
The program began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
