Director of Investment Facilitation Visits Salah Kakar Pharmaceutical Factory

On June 10, 2026, the Director of Investment Facilitation at the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, Mawlavi Engineer Ahmad Zia Khalid, visited the Salah Kakar Pharmaceutical Factory in Kabul.

During the visit, Mawlavi Engineer Ahmad Zia Khalid stated that the Islamic Emirate is making serious efforts to promote and strengthen the country's manufacturing sector, as the establishment and expansion of production facilities create employment opportunities for people and contribute to the country's self-sufficiency.

The head of the factory, Haji Ghawsuddin Kakar, expressed his appreciation for the attention and support of the officials of the Investment Facilitation Directorate and shared the existing challenges related to the distribution and supply of the factory's pharmaceutical products with the Director of the Directorate.

Meanwhile, the Director of Investment Facilitation assured that obstacles are being reduced day by day and that the leadership of the Islamic Emirate is taking rapid steps to support the growth of domestic manufacturing factories and promote the country's development and prosperity.

It is worth mentioning that the factory produces 96 different types of medicines and 50,000 bottles of syrup daily.
