Meeting Held to Implement Order of His Highness Amirul Momineen (May Allah Protect Him)

On May 23, 2026, under the chairmanship of Mawlavi Mohammad Akram Nomani, Acting Director of the Council of Ministers and High Commissions Coordination Directorate at the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs and Deputy Director of the Media Directorate, the second meeting regarding the implementation of the order of His Highness Amirul Momineen (may Allah protect him) concerning the construction of a large mosque in Kabul city was held.

The meeting, held in the conference hall of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, was attended by representatives from the Ministries of Urban Development and Housing, Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, as well as Kabul Municipality, during which comprehensive discussions were held on the matter.

During the meeting, the Acting Director of the Council of Ministers and High Commissions Coordination Directorate and Deputy Director of the Media Directorate highlighted the decisions made in the previous meeting and added that, for the proper implementation of the order of His Highness Amirul Momineen (may Allah protect him), it is necessary for all parties to carry out their assigned responsibilities in the best possible manner.

After hearing the views of all parties, it was decided that Kabul Municipality would submit the final design sketch of the mosque to the Ministries of Urban Development and Housing and Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, so that the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing could prepare the mosque construction plan and share it with the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, which would then present it to the office of His Highness Amirul Momineen (may Allah protect him) for approval.

The meeting, which began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
