Inauguration Ceremony for Completion of Remaining Works of 146 Apartments in Estiqlal Residential Township Held

On May 12, 2026, the Director General of Administrative Affairs, Sheikh al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, the Minister of Urban Development and Housing, Mawlavi Najibullah Hayat Haqqani, the Minister of Finance, Mullah Mohammad Nasar Akhund, and several other officials participated and delivered speeches at the inauguration ceremony for the completion of the remaining works of 146 apartments in the Estiqlal Residential Township in Kabul.

Addressing the ceremony, the Director General of Administrative Affairs said it is a matter of joy that, after decades of hardship, the country is now moving toward reconstruction and development due to the prevailing security and the presence of a capable system. He added that the leadership of the Islamic Emirate has recognized this need and, through its efforts and support, has provided a suitable environment for construction activities across the country.

The Director General of Administrative Affairs also assured facilitation in construction permits and administrative procedures and stated that efforts are underway to further simplify and accelerate administrative affairs and enhance coordination among the relevant institutions, so that the problems of the people can be addressed in a timely manner.

He also urged the public to provide necessary assistance to returning refugees according to their means and to avoid the unjustified increase in the prices of construction materials.

The ceremony, which began with the recitation of the verses from the Holy Quran, concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
