Director of Building Maintenance and Care Visits Ongoing Work on Mosque of General Directorate of Administrative Affairs

On Monday, April 27, 2026, Mawlavi Mohammad Yusuf Saad, Director of Building Maintenance and Care at the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, along with the technical team of the directorate, visited the concreting work of the second floor of the mosque of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs.

The Director of Building Maintenance and Care stated that the mosque is being constructed at a cost of approximately 20 million AFNs on an area of 600 square meters within the premises of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs. It will have the capacity to accommodate more than 1,300 worshippers at a time.

Abdul Basir Mateen, Project Manager of the mosque, stated during the visit that the project has progressed by about 60% and was awarded to the Rodat Maihan Construction Company last year.

It is worth mentioning that the project was contracted for a period of fifteen months and will be completed in the near future and put into operation.
