Media Delegation of General Directorate of Administrative Affairs Travels to Balkh

On April 15, 2026, the media delegation of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, led by Mawlavi Aminullah Jelani, Deputy Director of the Media Directorate, met and held discussions with Hafiz Abdurrahman Hemat, Mayor of Mazar-e-Sharif, during their visit to Balkh Province to raise awareness about Decrees No. 17 and 20 of His Highness Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah preserve him).

During the meeting, Mawlavi Aminullah Jelani emphasized the comprehensive implementation of these decrees and stated that harmful and improper customs have caused numerous problems for the people. He added that the purpose of their visit is to launch awareness programs and install informational billboards across Balkh Province, particularly in Mazar-e-Sharif, so that citizens become aware of the provisions of these decrees and refrain from harmful traditions.

Meanwhile, Hafiz Abdurrahman Hemat, Mayor of Mazar-e-Sharif, described the implementation of these decrees as a serious necessity and appreciated the efforts of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs in promoting them. He also emphasized the full readiness of the Mazar-e-Sharif Municipality to cooperate in implementing these awareness programs.
