13th Cabinet Meeting: Discussion Held on Country’s Port Standardization and Provision of Better Services to People


On Monday, January 19, 2026, the 13th Cabinet meeting of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) was held under the chairmanship of Al-Haj Mullah Mohammad Hasan Akhund, Prime Minister of the IEA.

The meeting began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by discussions on important economic, social, and cultural issues of the country, during which several decisions were made.

During the meeting, the Cabinet approved the report of the designated delegation regarding the standardization of ports, the provision of better services to the people, and the commencement of reconstruction works at the ports of Herat, Farah, and Nimroz provinces.

Furthermore, the relevant institutions were assigned to act as a delegation, carry out responsibilities within their respective areas, and follow up on them with due seriousness.

It is worth mentioning that after detailed discussions and the resolution of various important matters, the Cabinet meeting concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
