Apartment Handed Over to Its Legitimate Owner in Kabul’s Eighth District
On January 13, 2025, the Directorate for Inspection of Houses and Properties under the Security of Emirate at the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, after verifying the relevant documents, handed over an apartment located on the seventh floor of Stanikzai Meena, Kabul’s Eighth District, to the legal representative of the rightful owner, in the presence of the wakil-e-gozar (neighborhood representative) and security officials.
During the handover, Mawlavi Lal Mohammad Burhani, an official of the Directorate for Inspection of Houses and Properties under the Security of Emirate, stated that the original owner of the apartment was abroad and the apartment had remained unattended. In order to prevent usurpation and to safeguard the belongings inside, the apartment was sealed by the officials of the directorate. Later, the original owner submitted the relevant documents to the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, and after their verification, the apartment was handed over to his legal representative.
Ahmad Shakib, son of Mohammad Marouf, the legal representative of Abdul Waheed Hafizi and a resident of Kabul Province, expressed his gratitude to the officials of the directorate for their efforts in handing over the apartment.
It is worth noting that the Directorate for Inspection of Houses and Properties under the Security of Emirate, in coordination with security officials, has so far handed over hundreds of houses and apartments to their legitimate owners after the verification and confirmation of documents, and this process is still ongoing.
