Apartment Handed Over to Its Legitimate Owner in Kabul’s Fifth District
On January 7, 2026, the Directorate for Inspection of Houses and Properties under the Security of Emirate at the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, after reviewing and verifying relevant documents, handed over an apartment located in Nabi Zada Township of Kabul’s Fifth District to its legitimate owner, in the presence of the wakil-e-gozar (locally elected representative) and security officials.
During the handover, Mawlavi Lal Mohammad Burhani, one of the officials of the Directorate, stated that the apartment had been usurped by an unauthorized individual three years ago. He explained that the rightful owner had submitted a complaint to the Directorate for Inspection of Houses and Properties under the Security of the Emirate, and following confirmation and verification of the documents, the usurper was evicted and the apartment was returned to its legitimate owner.
Bibi Fawzia, daughter of Ghulam Sarwar and a resident of Ghazni Province, the legitimate owner of the apartment, expressed her appreciation to the officials of the Directorate for their efforts in recovering and handing over her property.
It is worth mentioning that the Directorate for Inspection of Houses and Properties under the Security of the Emirate, in coordination with relevant institutions, has so far returned dozens of houses and apartments to their rightful owners after verification and confirmation of documents, and this process continues.
