On December 21, 2025, Mawlavi Mohammad Rabbani Naseeh, Director of Cultural and Social Affairs at the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, stated during a meeting with Afghanistan’s Sikh and Hindu communities that the honor, lives, property, and rights of all citizens are protected within the framework of the Islamic system, and everyone can live freely under its umbrella.

This meeting, held in the conference hall of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, was also attended by Mr. Noor Mohammad Haidari, Deputy Director of Cultural and Social Affairs, who welcomed the participants and stated that the Directorate of Cultural and Social Affairs has held around dozens of meetings with different segments of society to help resolve their problems, and that assistance has been provided to them based on available resources.

Representatives of the Sikh and Hindu communities, while expressing satisfaction with the Islamic Emirate, discussed the challenges they have faced in recent years, including issues related to their gurdwaras, the usurpation of their properties, matters concerning power of attorney documentation, Unani (herbal) pharmacies, and their nationwide council. They called for these concerns to be addressed.

The Director of Cultural and Social Affairs carefully listened to the issues, views, and suggestions of the participants and assured them that their concerns would be shared with the relevant authorities and properly addressed.

The meeting began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
