Meeting Held to Implement Directive of Prime Minister's Office


On October 12, 2025, a meeting was held in the conference hall of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs under the chairmanship of Mawlavi Abdul Bari Atif, Deputy Director General for Policy of Emirate at the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, to implement the verbal directive of the Prime Minister's Office regarding the request of the Ministry of Interior Affairs on a security contract aimed at ensuring security and protection of the private sector.

Representatives from the Ministries of Interior Affairs, Finance, Industry and Commerce, Higher Education, the General Directorate of Intelligence, the Union of Hospitals, and the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment attended the meeting, where the Deputy Director General for Policy of Emirate briefed participants on the verbal directive of the Prime Minister’s Office.

Later, the representative of the Ministry of Interior highlighted the importance of the contract for ensuring security and protection of the private sector, after which participants shared their views on the matter.

After carefully listening to the participants’ views and suggestions, Mawlavi Abdul Bari Atif decided that the Ministry of Interior should coordinate and exchange views with relevant institutions on the requirements of security guards and the provision of security for the private sector, and take steps to address the existing challenges.

The meeting began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
