Sixth Cabinet Meeting; Approval of Phase 3 of Andkhoy-Sheberghan Railway Project and Discount on Urban Maps

The sixth cabinet meeting of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was held today, Monday (15th Rabi-ul-Awwal 1447 / 17th Sanbula 1404), under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Alhaj Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund.

The meeting, which began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, discussed and decided on key economic, social, and cultural matters.

The cabinet approved the proposal of the Ministry of Public Works regarding the acquisition of Phase 3 of the Andkhoy-Sheberghan Railway Project, considering it an important step forward in the development of the country’s railway sector.

Similarly, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development was authorized to provide a 50 percent discount on maps and visa fees for Emirati institutions, a move expected to accelerate related works.

The meeting concluded with good prayers for the country’s prosperity after comprehensive discussions on various issues.
