Cooked Meals Distributed to 500 Earthquake-Affected People in Diwa Gal Valley, Kunar

On September 5, 2025, the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, with the financial support of Human Appeal Humanitarian and Development Organization, distributed cooked meals to 500 people affected by the recent earthquake in the Diwa Gal valley of Kunar province.

During the distribution, Qari Abdul Mateen Rahimzai, Director of Operations Affairs at the General Directorate for Coordination of Municipal Affairs, said that Human Appeal Humanitarian and Development Organization, in coordination with the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, is providing cooked meals to 500 people daily. He added that this aid will continue for 10 days, benefiting a total of 5,000 earthquake-affected people.

Mr. Rahimzai praised the contribution of the Human Appeal Humanitarian and Development Organization and called on other humanitarian agencies to continue supporting families impacted by the recent earthquakes during this difficult time.
