Director of Policy and Strategy Holds Coordination Meeting with Officials of Ibn Sina Pharmacy Emirate Company

On August 24, 2025, a coordination meeting was held in the conference hall of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, under the chairmanship of Mufti Abdul Wahid Usmani, Director of Policy and Strategy, with the participation of Mawlavi Mohammad Ayoub, Financial Director of Ibn Sina Pharmacy Emirate Company, along with several other officials.

At the outset, the Financial Director of Ibn Sina Pharmacy Emirate Company stated that the company had been paralyzed for years, but with the establishment of the Islamic Emirate, it has witnessed significant progress compared to the past.

He further added that the company operates in the fields of production, import, and distribution. However, it is currently facing a number of challenges, such as lack of financial authority, shortage of professional staff, reliance on imported raw materials, absence of a clear procurement plan, and lack of coordination with sectoral ministries. These issues have hindered the company’s ability to compete with other private companies.

The Director of Policy and Strategy listened to the concerns and requests of the company’s officials and assigned a technical committee to prepare a comprehensive three-year development plan that addresses all aspects.

The meeting began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
