Director General of Administrative Affairs: Human trafficking is an act against Islamic and human values
On August 17, 2025, a meeting was held to implement Decree No. 13, dated 9/6/1446 AH, of His Highness Amir al-Mu'minin Hafizahullah Ta’ala, regarding the prevention of human trafficking.
The meeting took place in the conference hall of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, with the participation of Sheikh al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, Director General of Administrative Affairs, representatives of the Ministries of Higher Education, Labor and Social Affairs, the General Directorate of Supervision and Follow-up of Decrees and Orders, as well as several other officials.
The Ministries of Guidance, Hajj and Endowments, Education, Higher Education, Information and Culture, Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice and Hearing of Complaints, Borders and Tribal Affairs, and Communications and Information Technology were tasked with preparing and implementing public awareness strategies to combat human trafficking and to highlight the grave consequences of endangering people’s lives.
Speaking at the meeting, Sheikh al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, Director General of Administrative Affairs, stated: “Human trafficking is a shameful act and a crime against humanity. This practice is not only un-Islamic, but also immoral, and society must be cleansed of this phenomenon.”
He added that all relevant institutions are obligated to make the necessary efforts to prevent human trafficking, explain its harmful effects to the public, and raise the level of awareness across society.
The meeting, which began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
