Islamic Emirate Holds Fourth Cabinet Meeting in Kandahar
On August 13, 2025, under the leadership of His Highness the Amir al-Mu’minin Haifzahullah Ta'ala, the fourth meeting of the Cabinet of the Islamic Emirate convened in Kandahar, commencing with the recitation of the verses from the Holy Qur’an.
His Highness the Amir al-Mu’minin Haifzahullah Ta'ala, delivered significant counsel and issued essential directives to the Cabinet members concerning the diligent fulfillment of their duties, the effective implementation of Sharia law, the resolution of public grievances, and the necessity of serving with sincerity.
His Highness the Amir al-Mu’minin Haifzahullah Ta'ala, emphasized that the stability of the Islamic government is rooted in the acquisition of religious knowledge. He urged the promotion of religious awareness among the populace, the intellectual refinement of society, the discouragement of immoral conduct, the protection of citizens from harmful ideologies, and the instruction of the people in matters of faith and creed. He stressed that adherence to the religion of Allah and the sacred Sharia must underlie all affairs, as this constitutes both a Sharia-based obligation and the expressed will of the Muslims of Afghanistan.
Following his address, deliberations took place on several matters, with the exchange of views leading to the following resolutions:
1: The Kabul Municipality was assigned the responsibility of constructing mosques in areas of need within Kabul city and handing them over to the Ministry of Guidance, Hajj, and Endowments.
2: A detailed discussion was conducted on the condition of prisoners in Afghanistan’s detention facilities, the processing of their legal cases, the duration of their confinement, and judicial decisions rendered regarding them.
3: To enhance attention toward mosques, madrasas, schools, and universities, committees chaired by the Ministries of Guidance, Hajj, and Endowments; Education; Higher Education; and the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice and Hearing Complaints were tasked with conducting comprehensive evaluations nationwide. Deliberations also addressed the revival and strengthening of educational systems in rural madrasas and mosques, with relevant authorities directed to prioritize these matters within available resources.
His Highness the Amir al-Mu’minin Haifzahullah Ta'ala, further stressed the prevention of intellectual discord, the reinforcement of unity and solidarity, and provided the necessary guidance and instructions to officials in this regard.
Other significant matters were also reviewed, with a general focus on identifying means to further consolidate and fortify the Islamic system.
This two-day Cabinet session concluded with the Amir al-Mu’minin’s supplication for the well-being of the nation and the system.
