Director General of Administrative Affairs Officially Introduces Newly Appointed Director of Ariana Afghan Airlines

On August 10, 2025, the former Deputy Minister for Finance and Administration at the Ministry of Public Health, Mulla Bakhturrahman Sharafat, appointed as the new Director of Ariana Afghan Airlines by the order of His Highness Amir al-Mu'minin Haifzahullah Ta'ala, was officially introduced during a special ceremony.

The ceremony was held in the conference hall of Ariana Afghan Airlines, with the participation of the Director General of Administrative Affairs, Sheikh al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar; the new Director of Ariana Afghan Airlines, Mulla Bakhturrahman Sharafat; and several other officials.

Speaking at the event, the Director General of Administrative Affairs said that in the Islamic system, appointments are made based on piety, justice, and competence, and that officials are required to fulfill their entrusted responsibilities in the best possible manner.

He added that the Supreme Leader of IEA appoints individuals who meet all the required qualifications for responsibility, and that the officials serving within the structure have earned the trust of both the people and the leadership.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Director General of Administrative Affairs praised the performance of the former Director of Ariana Afghan Airlines, Mawlavi Abdul Wali Siddiqui, and wished the new Director success in his duties.

The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and ended with a prayer for goodwill.
