Director General of Administrative Affairs: Islamic Emirate Has Achieved Significant Progress in Educational and Academic Sector
On August 10, 2025, 228 students graduated from nine departments of the Kabul Education University master’s program: Fiqh, Tafseer, Pashto, Dari, TESOL, Sociology, Education, Educational Management, and Mathematics.
The graduation ceremony took place in the university's conference hall, with the participation of the Director General of Administrative Affairs, Sheikh al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar; the Chancellor of Kabul Education University, Sheikh al-Hadith Sayed Bashir Agha Hashami; and several other officials.
Speaking at the event, Sheikh al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar said: “The period of occupation brought hardships in every sector, depriving people of their Sharia and human rights, creating obstacles to the progress of Afghans, and halting their growth. Today, the Islamic system is fully focused on this sector and will continue to strengthen it.”
He added: “Unlike the previous administration, the Islamic Emirate has made remarkable achievements in the field of education and the academic sector, continuously building capacity and making progress in all areas of both religious and modern sciences.”
Meanwhile, Sheikh al-Hadith Sayed Bashir Agha Hashami, Chancellor of Kabul Education University, said: “During the previous administration, the university offered only five master’s programs. Over the past four years, this number has increased to eleven, reflecting the Islamic system’s commitment to advancing education alongside other sectors.”
The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
