Meeting on Demarcation of River Boundaries and Provision of Services to Tourists Held
On July 19, 2025, a comprehensive discussion was held on protection of river boundaries, expansion of green spaces, provision of recreational facilities for tourists, and improved coordination among relevant institutions.
The meeting was held in the conference hall of General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, attended by Sheikh al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, Director General of Administrative Affairs; Minister of Water and Energy, Mulla Abdul Latif Mansour; Finance and Administrative Deputy of Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, Mulla Agha Jan Akhund; Kabul Mayor, Mawlavi Abdur Rasheed Balooch; CEO of Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat, Dr. Abdul Bari Omar; and several other officials.
During the meeting, discussions were held on demarcation of river boundaries, development of green areas, establishment of recreational facilities for tourists, and provision of additional services. Representatives from relevant ministries and agencies shared their views to enhance coordination and improve affairs.
At the end of the meeting, it was decided that a technical committee, led by General Directorate of Administrative Affairs and composed of representatives from relevant ministries and institutions, would be formed to conduct a thorough investigation and present its report in the upcoming meeting.
The meeting began with recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
