Director General of Administrative Affairs Participates in Inauguration Ceremony of Mineral Processing Factory

On July 8, 2025, Sheikh al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, Director General of Administrative Affairs, participated in and delivered a speech at the inauguration ceremony of a mineral processing factory (antimony and lead) in Maidan Wardak Province.

The ceremony, organized by the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum in the capital of Maidan Wardak Province, was attended by Sheikh al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, Director General of Administrative Affairs; Mawlavi Hedayatullah Badri, Minister of Mines and Petroleum; along with several high-ranking officials of the Islamic Emirate and local residents.

In his remarks, Sheikh al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar said: “Favorable conditions have been created for the progress of Afghanistan, as today, officials and investors are taking sincere and responsible steps toward the country’s development and prosperity.”

The Director General added: “Mines are among the blessings of Almighty Allah, and the Islamic Emirate will utilize these resources responsibly and effectively for the well-being of the people, the protection of the environment, and the creation of societal facilities, so that the entire nation can benefit from them.”

He emphasized that every official in the Islamic Emirate is striving to provide prosperity and comfort to our suffering nation, so that people’s problems are resolved and they can enjoy their legitimate rights.

Meanwhile, Mawlavi Hedayatullah Badri, Minister of Mines and Petroleum, stated: “Afghanistan is rich in antimony and lead resources, and the Islamic Emirate is committed to the development and reconstruction of the country.”

It is worth mentioning that the antimony and lead processing factory has been built on 25 jeribs of land with an investment of five million US dollars, and it is expected to begin practical mineral processing operations soon.

The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
