Apartment Handed Over to Its Legitimate Owner

On July 1, 2025, the Directorate for the Inspection of Houses and Properties under the Security of Emirate of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs handed over an apartment to its legitimate owner after conducting thorough investigations and verifying the legal ownership.

The apartment, located in the Khushal Khan area of District 5, Kabul city, had previously been sealed due to the absence of its rightful owner.

Mawlavi Lal Mohammad Burhani, one of the officials from the Directorate for the Inspection of Houses and Properties under the Security of Emirate, stated: "This apartment was sealed three years ago due to the absence of its actual owner, in order to prevent misuse or illegal occupation. Following the owner’s return from Australia and submission of ownership documents, the apartment has now been handed over to him."

Najibullah, son of Abdullah, originally from Kandahar province and the rightful owner of the apartment, expressed his satisfaction and appreciation for the unwavering support and cooperation of the Directorate for the Inspection of Houses and Properties under the Security of Emirate in returning his apartment.

It is worth mentioning that, in coordination with relevant institutions, the Directorate has so far returned dozens of houses and apartments to their rightful owners after verifying legal documents. The officials emphasize that this process will continue.
