Director of Investment Facilitation: Investors play a fundamental role in strengthening the Islamic system
On June 25, 2025, a joint meeting was held in the office of Mawlavi Engineer Ahmad Zia Khalid, Director of Investment Facilitation of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, to discuss the construction of a commercial market in Laghman Province. The meeting included representatives from the General Directorate for Coordination of Municipal Affairs, the Ministries of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, Finance, and the Moses Private Company.
Mawlavi Engineer Ahmad Zia Khalid, besides providing information about the project, stated that the Islamic Emirate gives full attention to the economy. He emphasized that investors play a fundamental role in strengthening the Islamic system and that their investments create employment opportunities for the people.
During the meeting, the participants shared their views on the construction of the proposed market through a public-private partnership and emphasized that such partnerships do not result in losses for either party.
It is worth mentioning that the Moses Private Company will invest 250 million AFNs in the construction of the market under a public-private partnership agreement. The contract is for a period of twenty years, after which 40% of the market’s profits will go to the Islamic Emirate.
The meeting, which began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, concluded with a prayer following the signing of the contract by representatives of the relevant institutions and the Moses Private Company.
