Director of Investment Facilitation Meets Representatives of Sunlight Private Company

On June 22, 2025, the Director of Investment Facilitation of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, Mawlavi Engineer Ahmad Zia Khalid, met with representatives of the Pakistani Sunlight Private Company in his office and exchanged views regarding the establishment of a fabric and carpet factory within the country.

During the meeting, the Director of Investment Facilitation stated that the Islamic Emirate supports domestic production and that facilitating investors is a key part of its economic policy.

Meanwhile, the representatives of Sunlight Private Company expressed their happiness over the facilities being provided for investors and requested the Director of Investment Facilitation to offer comprehensive cooperation in addressing the challenges related to the factory.

It is worth mentioning that the planned fabric and carpet factory will soon be established in Afghanistan by Sunlight Private Company with an investment of 8 million dollars and is expected to create employment opportunities for around 750 people.
