21st Cabinet Meeting: Discussion held on the draft plan to regulate street vendors and a 40% fee reduction

On May 26, 2025, the 21st Cabinet meeting of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was held under the chairmanship of Al-Haj Mullah Mohammad Hasan Akhund, Prime Minister of the IEA.

The session began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by discussions and decisions on important economic, social, and cultural matters of the country.

In this session, the Cabinet approved the draft plan to regulate street vendors, and a 40% fee reduction was also deemed acceptable after approval from the leadership.

Additionally, the report from the Economic Zones Evaluation Committee was approved, and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce was tasked with coordinating with relevant entities to organize and advance work in this regard.

It is worth mentioning that, after detailed discussions on various matters, the Cabinet meeting concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
