Director General of Administrative Affairs: Revenue Collection and Expenditure Should Be Carried Out with Utmost Caution, Trustworthiness, and Justice

On May 15, 2025, Sheikh al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, Director General of Administrative Affairs, participated in and delivered a speech on the final day of a six-day training seminar organized by the Civil Service Institute of the Administrative Reform and Civil Service Authority.

The event took place in the conference hall of the Civil Service Institute, with the participation of Sheikh al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, Director General of Administrative Affairs; Mawlavi Mohammad Ishaq Akhundzada, General Director for Coordination of Municipal Affairs; Sheikh Mawlavi Mohammad Taoos Tariq, Director of the Administrative Reform and Civil Service Authority; along with mayors from provincial centers and districts.

Sheikh al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar stated: “The municipality, as a revenue-generating administration, collects revenue from the nation; therefore, utmost caution, trustworthiness, and justice should be taken into consideration in the collection and expenditure of these revenues. He added that revenue should be allocated to areas where they are most beneficial to the general public and meet the basic needs of the people, in order to promote the development of cities and the well-being of the nation.”

The Director General of Administrative Affairs further stated: “Municipalities should strive to lease their properties to the private sector through contracts, so that the country’s economy can be strengthened, employment opportunities can be created for the people, and economic growth can be accelerated. The growth of the private sector will not only bring about economic stability but also provide services and ease for the public.”

The final day of seminar began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and ended with a prayer for goodwill.
