Director General of Administrative Affairs Delivered a Speech in Training Seminar for Provincial and District Mayors
On May 11, 2025, Sheikh al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, Director General of Administrative Affairs, participated in and delivered a speech on the second day of a six-day training seminar organized by the Administrative Reform and Civil Service Authority for central and district mayors from across the provinces.
The event took place in the conference hall of the Civil Service Institute, with the participation of Sheikh al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, Director General of Administrative Affairs; Mawlavi Mohammad Ishaq Akhundzada, General Director for Coordination of Municipal Affairs; Sheikh Mawlavi Mohammad Taoos Tariq, Director of the Administrative Reform and Civil Service Authority; along with central and district mayors from across the provinces.
The Director General of Administrative Affairs stated: The science that strengthens a person in fulfilling responsibilities and helps in guiding and serving the Ummah is obligatory to acquire. Such knowledge is not only essential for the individual, but it also holds a foundational role in the progress of society and the Ummah. One who possesses knowledge can fulfill responsibilities with full insight, justice, and piety.
He added that it is our religious obligation to appoint individuals who possess competence, ability, and strong determination in fulfilling their responsibilities, those who are trustworthy, honest, and God-fearing. Assigning responsibility is a great trust, and it should be entrusted only to those who demonstrate sincerity, experience, and full qualification. In doing so, our institutions will be strengthened, our people will be assured, and our future will be bright.
The Director General for Coordination of Municipal Affairs stated that the contents of the seminar have been prepared according to high academic and technical standards, with the involvement of specialists in reform, management, transparency, and the enhancement of public services, so that institutional performance is further strengthened and better services are delivered to the people.
Sheikh Mawlavi Mohammad Taoos Tariq, Director of the Administrative Reform and Civil Service Authority, assured that their authority will work with full sincerity for the reform and development of all economic and administrative affairs. He added that the authority’s specialists will support government employees through all possible means in acquiring new skills, mastering management principles, and receiving professional training, so that better results can be achieved in the areas of transparency, accountability, and public service delivery.
The seminar, which began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, ended with a prayer for goodwill.
