Director General of Administrative Affairs Addresses Training Seminar for Provincial and District Mayors of the Country

On May 10, 2025, Sheikh al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, Director General of Administrative Affairs, participated in and delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of a six-day training seminar organized by the Administrative Reform and Civil Service Authority for central and district mayors from across the provinces.

The event took place in the conference hall of the Civil Service Institute, with the participation of Sheikh al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, Director General of Administrative Affairs; Mawlavi Mohammad Ishaq Akhundzada, General Director for Coordination of Municipal Affairs; Sheikh Mawlavi Mohammad Taoos Tariq, Director of the Administrative Reform and Civil Service Authority; along with central and district mayors from across the provinces.

Sheikh al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar remarked that during the previous era of the Islamic Emirate, the facilities for service delivery were not as developed as they are today. However, Alhamdulillah, Allah has now granted us the opportunity to serve the Ummah with complete sincerity and full capacity. It is truly a matter of gratitude that the means to serve our people have been made available to us.

The Director General of Administrative Affairs emphasized that when an individual is entrusted with a responsibility, it is incumbent upon them to learn and apply all relevant principles and regulations necessary for the proper fulfillment of their duties, as fulfilling a trust is both a significant duty and a serious responsibility.

Mawlavi Mohammad Ishaq Akhundzada highlighted that the seminar is organized at a high level, with its content developed by professional experts in the fields of revenue collection, budgeting, and other relevant areas.

Sheikh Mawlavi Mohammad Taoos Tariq assured that the instructors of the Civil Service Institute are fully committed to supporting the country’s mayors, ensuring that, through the provision of necessary training, a solid foundation is established for effective service delivery to the suffering people of the nation.

The opening day of the seminar began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
