Director of Cultural and Social Affairs Meets Ulema and Ethnic Influentials from Ghor Province

 

On May 7, 2025, Mawlavi Mohammad Rabbani Naseeh, Director of Cultural and Social Affairs at the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, met with a number of ulema, ethnic influentials, and elders from Ghor province at Marmarin Palace to discuss their issues and concerns.

During the meeting, Noor Mohammad Haidari, Deputy Director of Cultural and Social Affairs, stated that, in accordance with the directive of His Highness Amir al-Mu’minin Hafidzahullah Ta’ala, the Directorate of Cultural and Social Affairs has conducted over 200 meetings with various segments of society to address their concerns. He added that many of the raised issues and requests have already been resolved.

The elders and ethnic influentials from Ghor expressed their appreciation for the General Directorate’s attention to the province. They raised concerns about the lack of clinics, roads, madrassas, standard schools, water dams, electricity, and basic infrastructure. They urged the leadership of the Islamic Emirate to appoint qualified and capable individuals from Ghor to government positions, complete the Kabul–Ghor–Herat highway, regulate the province’s rivers, and preserve Ghor’s cultural and historical heritage.

The Director of Cultural and Social Affairs listened carefully to the participants’ concerns, requests, and suggestions. He assured them that their issues would be communicated to the relevant authorities and addressed based on available resources. He further emphasized that the doors of the Islamic Emirate remain open to the public and that efforts are ongoing to resolve the people’s problems in the best possible way.

The meeting, which began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
