Director General of Administrative Affairs Participates in the Introductory Meeting of the New Deputy Minister of Mines and Petroleum
On February 17, 2025, the Director General of Administrative Affairs, Sheikh-Al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, participated in the introductory meeting for the new Deputy Minister of Mines and Petroleum, Sheikh Abdul Rahman Qanit.
The meeting was held in the conference hall of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, with the participation of Sheikh-Al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, Minister of Mines and Petroleum Mawlavi Hedayatullah Badri, the new Deputy Minister for Plan and Policy Sheikh Abdul Rahman Qanit, and several other officials.
In his speech, the Director General of Administrative Affairs stated that, in addition to its many benefits, one of the key advantages of the Islamic system is its appointment process, which is carried out in accordance with Sharia standards rather than through elections, as practiced in other countries.
He pointed out that while the appointment process in other parts of the world is often accompanied by months of propaganda, protests, and controversies, the Islamic system follows a different approach, where allegiance is given to the Amir, responsibilities are entrusted to him, and then he makes appointments in light of Sharia.
Sheikh-Al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq further elaborated that just as Islamic Sharia provides guidance on worship, business, and ethics, it also lays out principles for governance and appointments, which the leadership of the Islamic Emirate follows accordingly.
He added that those appointed within the Islamic system are not newcomers but individuals who have endured challenges and difficult tests in the past. Their dedication and service are well known and trusted by the leadership.
Additionally, the new Deputy Minister for Plan and Policy, Sheikh Abdul Rahman Qanit, also addressed the gathering.
The meeting, which began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
