14th Cabinet Meeting: Discussion Held on the Distribution of ID Cards and Regulation of Street Vendors in Kabul City

On January 20, 2025, the 14th Cabinet meeting of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was convened under the leadership of Al-Haj Mullah Mohammad Hasan Akhund, the Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. During the meeting, several economic, social, and cultural matters were discussed, and vital decisions were made.

Specific delegations were assigned certain responsibilities to finalize their tasks and present their reports at the next Cabinet meeting.

The National Statistics and Information Authority was tasked with ensuring the proper distribution of ID cards and facilitating this process for the public. Additionally, the Kabul Municipality was instructed to take necessary measures to regulate street vendors, ensuring order and providing facilities to improve urban management and create employment opportunities for residents.

The Book Evaluation Commission, led by the Ministry of Information and Culture, was assigned to collect comprehensive information regarding the publication of Quran translations without the original text. The commission was directed to conduct a thorough investigation to prevent any spiritual distortion or falsification of this Holy Book.

The Cabinet meeting, which began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
