The Cultural and Social Affairs Director Meets Religious Scholars and Ethnic Elders of Bamiyan

On January 19, 2025, the Director of Cultural and Social Affairs, Mawlavi Mohammad Rabbani Naseeh, met with religious scholars (ulemas), ethnic elders, and youth from the Hazara community of Bamiyan to discuss their issues.

The meeting took place in the conference hall of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, where Mr. Noor Mohammad Haidari, Deputy Director of Cultural and Social Affairs, welcomed the participants. He expressed the special order of the Esteemed Amirul Momineen Hafidzahullahu Ta'ala, which directs opening the doors of the Emirati agencies to the nation and listening to their concerns.

Representatives of the Hazara community in Bamiyan spoke according to the agenda and stated that with the arrival of the Islamic Emirate, power factions had been eliminated, and a valuable opportunity had emerged for the country's reconstruction. They urged that better service be provided to the country at this time, the extraction of minerals be carried out professionally, and the revenue generated be spent on the country's developmental projects.

Additionally, they expressed their happiness over the re-establishment of the Islamic Emirate and requested the construction of the Bamiyan-Ghor, Bamiyan-Badghis, and Bamiyan-Dara-i Suf roads, as well as the resumption of the delayed work on the electricity substation in the province. They also stressed that such meetings with the people should be held regularly.

In the meeting, Mawlavi Mohammad Rabbani Naseeh, Director of Cultural and Social Affairs, emphasized that Afghans now have a strong central government, built through their sacrifices and blood. He assured them that the Islamic Emirate is committed to maintaining national unity among the people and tribes, and that their concerns would be shared with the relevant authorities for resolution.

The meeting, which began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
