Director General of Administrative Affairs Attends the Opening Ceremony of the Maidan Wardak Transportation Terminal Construction Project

On January 7, 2024, the Director General of Administrative Affairs, Sheikh-Ul-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, participated in and delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the Maidan Wardak Transportation Terminal Construction Project.
The ceremony was held in the conference hall of the Maidan Wardak Governor's Office and was attended by the Director General of Administrative Affairs, Sheikh-Al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar; Minister of Urban Development and Housing, Mawlavi Hamdullah Nomani, the Minister of Transport and Aviation, Mullah Hamidullah Akhundzada; the Governor of Maidan Wardak, Qari Bakhtyar Maaz; and other provincial officials.
In his speech, Sheikh-Ul-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar expressed, “It is a matter of great joy that we are once again participating in such a gathering, which carries a positive message for the people. Every day, we witness the progress and development of our country, driven by the unwavering determination and sincere intentions of the Islamic Emirate.”
He added, “We are part of a system formed by individuals who have been tested time and again and have arisen from within the nation. Furthermore, a healthy atmosphere of competition has now been established, where every institution strives to effectively meet public demands and takes actions aligned with the aspirations of the people.”
The Director General further emphasized that Amir-ul-Mu'mineen Hafidhahullah Ta'ala has approved all proposals aimed at reducing the hardships of the nation without hesitation, ensuring that the existing challenges are alleviated and the country is freed from reliance on foreign aid.
The Ministers of Urban Development and Housing and Transport and Civil Aviation, along with the Governor of Maidan Wardak and other officials, also addressed the gathering. They praised the project as a significant initiative for the province’s travelers, exports, imports, and traffic management.
According to Maidan Shahr officials, the project is expected to be completed within nine months. It will strengthen the province's transportation services, create numerous job opportunities, and generate revenue for the Islamic Emirate’s treasury.
The ceremony, which began with a recitation from the Holy Quran, concluded with prayers for goodwill.
